In the final week of term, our learning support team hosted a special event that filled the air with joy, wonder and beautiful butterflies! On a sunny day, they released butterflies into the wild. The butterflies, nurtured and cared for by the team and pupils alike, fluttered into the sky, ...symbolizing growth and new beginnings. The Year 8 production of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" was a delightful showcase of young talent and creativity, capturing the whimsical spirit of Roald Dahl's beloved story. The pupils brought the magical world of Willy Wonka's factory to life with vibrant costumes, ...imaginative sets, and enthusiastic performances. Each character, from the enigmatic Wonka to the lovable Charlie, was portrayed with dedication and charm, captivating the audience!

The Years 5 - 8 Speech Day was a memorable and inspiring event, celebrating a special year at Danes Hill School. After a warm welcome from our Head, Richard Brown and our Chair of Governors, Cedric Ntumba, we welcomed Alex Tate, Head @stjohnsleatherhead to the stage who shared insightful words with... the audience. Highlights of the morning included a beautiful performance by the Chamber Choir, a brilliant excerpt from the Year 6 production 'Once Upon a Pea', the Head Boy and Head Girl's end-of-year reflections and the presentation of prizes by our guest of Honour.
