At Danes Hill, safeguarding the safety and well-being of our pupils is our highest priority. We are dedicated to creating a secure, welcoming environment where every child is respected, valued, and supported to thrive. Recognising our moral and statutory responsibilities, we follow rigorous safeguarding policies that are regularly updated to meet national standards and operate in line with Surrey’s inter-agency procedures. Child protection is a key part of these responsibilities, ensuring pupils receive effective support, timely intervention, and the protection they need to thrive in a safe and nurturing environment.
Our vigilant staff are trained to identify and address any concerns while working closely with parents to foster a culture of safety both in school and at home. Open communication is encouraged to empower children and strengthen their ability to stay safe online and offline.
