Wraparound Care

Pre-Prep (Bevendean) Information

• Regular bookings: For regular Early Ravens, Prep or Late Ravens bookings at Bevendean, we kindly ask that you provide one full term’s notice wherever possible. This enables us to plan staffing efficiently and ensures compliance with Early Years statutory requirements for our youngest children. Please make these bookings via SOCS.
• Ad-hoc or short-notice bookings: For occasional, short-notice, or additional bookings during the term, please contact the Bevendean Office directly. Where possible, provide at least one day’s notice.
• Mini Transition children turning three in the Autumn/Spring term: For Mini Transition children who turn three during the Autumn or Spring term, bookings for Early Ravens and Late Ravens must be made via the Bevendean Office.

Please note: As per the Prep site, if you do not require a specific session, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice of non-attendance otherwise you will be charged.

Prep Information

• Parents are kindly requested to book their child(ren)’s Early Ravens and Late Ravens sessions for the entire term wherever possible. SOCS allows for ‘block booking’ of weekly slots for each day, whether for Early Ravens, Late Ravens, or both. This approach assists us in managing staffing and catering arrangements efficiently.
• For one-off or flexible support, and where daily bookings are required for Early Ravens, Late Ravens, or both, please contact Reception or your child’s form tutor no later than 13:00 on the day.Please note: If you select a block booking, for instance Late Ravens every Monday, you will be invoiced for every session booked. However, if you do not require a specific session, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice of non-attendance. This enables staff to record the absence as ‘authorised’ (and you will not be charged). Absences without sufficient notice will be considered ‘unauthorised’ and will be charged accordingly.

Pick-up (after school)

• The school day ends at 16:35 for pupils in Years 4–8, and collection should take place by 16:45.
• Children not collected from their form teachers by this time will be supervised by MoD staff until 17:00.
• Any pupils still awaiting collection at 17:00 will be transferred to Late Ravens, with the associated charges applied.
• The school closes strictly at 18:00. Collections after 18:05 will incur a late fee of £15, with additional charges for every 15-minute period thereafter.

Pick-up (after Late Ravens)

• Drop-off and collection for wraparound care take place at the main reception gate at the front of each site.
• When collecting your child, please use the intercom. A Senior Management Team member will request a member of the wraparound care team to bring your child to meet you.
• At Bevendean, please use the intercom to gain entry to drop off/collect your child
