Bursaries
At Danes Hill School, we are committed to making our education accessible to as many families as possible. Our bursary programme offers means-tested financial support to pupils who would benefit from a Danes Hill education but may not otherwise be able to attend.
To make the process fair, transparent, and easier to manage, we operate an annual bursary application process.
How the New Process Works
Families are invited to apply for bursary support during a dedicated annual application period. This approach ensures that all applications are considered together and that bursary funds are allocated in a consistent and timely way.
The application window is open from 15 October 2026 until the end of the Autumn Term (December 2026). During this time:
- New applications for bursary support can be submitted.
- Current bursary holders will be invited to reapply and have their support reviewed.
All applications received will be carefully reviewed by our Financial Assistance Working Group (FAWG). Decisions will be shared with families by the end of the Spring Term 2027, allowing plenty of time to plan for the next academic year.
