Academic Results
The Class of 2026 celebrated exceptional academic success, with 68% of all grades awarded at A or A*, including 103 A grades. Across the full range of examined subjects, 90% of grades were awarded at A to B, while 97% were achieved at A to C. Pupils also enjoyed outstanding success in our bespoke Danes Hill Humanities curriculum, which brings together geography, history and theology, philosophy and religion. Across these three subjects, pupils secured 46 Distinctions and 47 Merits, meaning that 89% of all Humanities outcomes were awarded at Merit or Distinction.
Alongside the excellent Year 8 examination results, Danes Hill is celebrating an exceptional milestone after this year’s Year 7 pupils completed the school’s first entry for the ISEB iPQ qualification. An impressive 77% of pupils were awarded either a Merit or Distinction, demonstrating the high standards of independent learning, research and presentation skills developed by pupils throughout the programme. This remarkable success reflects the high standards of independent learning, research and presentation demonstrated by pupils at an early stage in their senior-school preparation
Our pupils continue their education at a wide range of leading senior schools, including local co-educational and single-sex day and boarding schools, as well as nationally renowned independent schools further afield. This breadth highlights the strength of preparation at Danes Hill and the bespoke guidance given to every child.
