Over the Easter holidays 30 girls from Year 6, 7 and 8 enjoyed going to the International Netball Festival to Paris.
During the day the girls played netball and also went to the Disney Parks. The weather was fantastic and they had fun on the rides and seeing the parades and Disney characters.
The girls were split into three teams for the netball matches, had a masterclass with Netball England coaches and played in a final tournament on the last day. All of the Danes Hill teams played against older girls so the results were fantastic.
The U12 A & B teams came 6th and 7th place in Showdown Cup and the U14 A team came 1st place in the Showdown Plate.
The Danes Hill girls also received The Umpires Spirit of the Game award for their superb enthusiasm throughout the five days.
This trip was a great way to finish off the netball season and the girls have lots of memories of this wonderful trip!
