Mrs Mantons Year 1 class were discussing The Paper Bag Princess book today in their English lesson. Having read the book as a class, they moved into small groups and began questioning each other taking it in turns to be the Dragon, the Prince or the Princess in the hot seat. This exercise encouraged the children to think about the characters beyond the words written on the pages and they all had great fun acting out the various characters and different voices and mannerisms.
