As part of a unit on literary crime and mystery, the pupils were using their investigative and journalistic skills to seek out clues to the mysterious disappearance of Agatha Christie. They had to collaborate and work out a strategy to gather the necessary information before their editor’s ...‘deadline’.
The afternoon sunshine was irresistible today and prompted our Year 4 pupils to seize the chance to enjoy their library books on the serene Head's Lawn. Throughout the lesson, teachers invited pupils for individual reading sessions. Meanwhile, Mrs Keat our wonderful Librarian was readily ...available, recommending fantastic reads to accompany the children through the weekend. A Year 4 student secured the coveted Library armchair, a cherished reading nook within our peaceful Library, and settled in comfortably, preparing for an afternoon immersed in books.

Today marked a momentous occasion for the Bevendean community as they gathered for their annual class photos.
