On Wednesday 16 May Year 3 visited Wakehurst Place to bring their study of plants to life. The children were lucky enough to see part of the Millenium Seed Bank, where seeds are preserved for future generations. They also took to their creative sides with ephemeral art, making wonderful pieces of artwork using parts of plants. Wakehurst Place is a beautiful location, so Year 3 were treated to a Story Stick Trail which involved taking a walk to see different trees and collect interesting parts of plants along the way. It was a great day of fun and learning!
