On Saturday the FODH (Friends of Danes Hill) hosted an incredible event, Family Day! The return of Family Day was celebrated by many of our Danes Hill families and everyone joined together in the glorious sunshine. There was a delicious BBQ, exciting rides, teacups, glitter tattoos, pottery painting and even a reptile experience!
The children also set up some of their own stalls, they included coin toss and a raffle which raised over £1000 for our chosen charity this term, Winstons Wish.
Holroyd Howe, our catering company, hosted a wonderful showcase event in the Dining Room where parents were able to taste food from the children’s daily menu, learn more about nutrition and even have a go on the smoothie bike!. Thank you to the FODH, Holroyd Howe and everyone else who supported Family Day!
