This week, our Transition classes set off on an exciting adventure to Garsons Farm! They each picked out a pumpkin to take home with them ready to carve over half term for Halloween! Mrs Rymer and the Spider Class boarded the minibus and headed for the Farm, they were met by a witch farmer! She told them how excited she was to have them at the farm to pick out their pumpkins, they were told, as long as they could carry their pumpkin, they could take it home! Off they ran to explore the fields to find the perfect pumpkin, they found huge bright orange ones, tiny little green ones (still on the vine) and a lot of mud! One by one they found their chosen pumpkins and were very excited to show Mrs Rymer their favourite pick. They collected a few for their classroom and all gathered to have a look at all of the different sizes and shapes a pumpkin could be. As a team they worked to put all of their pumpkins in size order.
