This afternoon in their Art lesson, the Year 2 children created some beautiful bean artwork. It was their introduction to their topic on India. Using an Indian flag template the children worked carefully to glue the vibrant lentils to their artwork. The orange of the flag symbolizes courage and sacrifice, the white represents peace, unity and truth, the green colour signifies faith and the colour blue symbolizing the sea and ocean.
The children were very happy with their final piece of art and the work is now on show in their classroom, creating a wonderfully bright and colourful display!
