This afternoon in their English lesson, Mrs Cooper and Mrs Johnsons Year 5 English classes created some amazing dream jars inspired by the BFG. Following their study of descriptive writing, they were asked to write down a dream, for example, it could be winning something, turning into something, or becoming somebody famous! They were then asked to write their wonderful and exciting dream story onto a jar label. This would attach to the fantastic dream jar they created with glitter, lights, tissue paper, and confetti. This artistic and creative jar is the perfect way to display the amazing dream stories of Year 5.
