This afternoon the children at Bevendean enjoyed their weekly Ballet lessons with Mrs Hamilton. This after-school activity is very popular and the children are able to follow it through to Year 1. They follow the ISTD syllabus and have Lily the pianist in their lessons to play beautiful live music throughout. Today the Year 1 children said, we love ballet so much and we get so excited to see Mrs Hamilton each week!. In their lesson today they did their warm-up exercises and then focused on their skipping, ensuring their knees were high, their toes pointed and they held their skirt with a smile!
