This morning Mrs Shirazis class, 1RKS had their weekly Spanish lesson with Mrs El Bachir. They have been learning about La Lluvia, the rain! They have been learning all about the vocabulary such as puddles, hat, wellies and umbrella. Today Mrs El Bachir tested the childrens vocabulary knowledge with her flashcards before inviting the children to sing the weather song they learnt last week. They sang about the rain, the muddy puddles and about how if they put on their socks and wellies and took their little umbrellas they could splash about happily! At Bevendean they learn their languages through song, stories and games. Languages are introduced to the children in Transition which is a great platform for when they move up to the Main School.
