The Lower School children at Danes Hill decided to colour their Tuesday green by taking part in a tree planting project. Alongside the Upper School Eco-Committee members, all children in the Lower School planted a tree, with some even planting two or three! The trees were kindly provided by the Woodland Trust and will be cared for in the years to come so that, when these children are in Year 8, they can say: I planted that tree, with pride.
The trees have been planted next to the astro turf, for all to see and enjoy daily. I would like to thank all of the wonderful Lower School for their enthusiasm and hard work on this project. Such a great team effort!
