On Tuesday 10 March, eight pupils from Years 3 to 6 represented Danes Hill in an inter-school quiz competition in central London. Forty-two teams competed from London and the South West in a 40 question general knowledge super-heat. The atmosphere was relaxed but the competition fierce. Our two Danes Hill teams showed excellent teamwork skills and worked very hard. Although we did not get through to the semi-final, we were pleased with our scores that took us into 17th and 22nd place overall. It was a challenging quiz, but both teams were happy with their performance and had lots of fun. We even drove back to Danes Hill via Buckingham Palace and waved at the Queen!
