On Friday 10 January, Year 2 children explored the world of traditional tales. Each of the children came into school dressed as a character from a popular tale, there were princesses, knights, wolves and more! The children began the day with a brilliant show of Hansel and Gretel by the Hobgoblin Theatre Company following an exciting drama workshop with the actors. They gathered in the library to hear a well-known fairy tale story and to take part in some craft activities. In the afternoon the children took part in sword and wand design and decorated their very own cookies. The children had an amazing day and thoroughly enjoyed their journey into the world of fairy tales.
