On Monday 19 November the Year 4 A & B teams competed in a hockey tournament at Downsend. The A team results were:
0-1 loss against St Teresas
3-0 win against Downsend
0-0 drew against Notre Dame
This resulted in the girls coming 2nd in the pool facing the Danes Hill B team. The final score was 1-0 to the A’s, coming in 3rd place and the B’s coming in 4th place. This is an excellent achievement, well done.
The B teams results were:
Vs Tormead A- 1-0 win
Vs St Teresa’s B- 1-1
Vs Downsend A- 0-1 loss
The team finished 2nd place in their pool. They went on to play in the 3rd and 4th play off against Danes Hill A playing a close game losing 0-1. The girls finished the A and B tournament in 4th place position out of 8 schools. The girls must be congratulated on also finishing 1st place from all of the four B teams entered in this competition. Well played girls!
