In what has been a new initiative this term, boys and girls in Year 8 from the 1st XI hockey and football teams have been acting as mentors to youngsters in Year 2.
The schools elite players have been giving up their valuable lunch break to coach and encourage the next generation of Danes Hill stars. It has proved to be a fantastic initiative with the youngsters learning a great deal from their idols and being eager to show off their developing skills.
Whilst we are always keen to focus on our flagship teams of the present, it is wonderful to know that the future of Danes Hill sport is in excellent hands.
