On Sunday 1 October the ski team travelled to Aldershot for the Surrey Ski Championships. It was another hugely successful competition, with a number of pupils making their first appearance for the Ski Team.
The Under 11 Boys won gold.
J Weeks and M Gillett were the first and second fastest skiers for their age groups, respectively.
The Junior Mixed Team won gold.
Mixed Under 9 won gold in their category (AND Silver in the boys category!)
Skiing continues to go from strength to strength and with the National Finals in Norwich looming, we are aiming for even more trophies for the cabinet. Good luck to all of those taking part and I look forward to seeing if C Vernon can maintain fastest U11 Girls skier, which she achieved in the first round of the competition.
