The girls in Year 4 and 5 enjoyed an extremely fun and enjoyable hockey workshop in their games lesson from Brett Garrard and Ben Edwards. Brett is the current coach of Surbiton Ladies 1s and coached them to the last four National premier league titles and finished 4th at the European Cup last year. He was also Assistant coach to Germany ladies at this years European Championships.
As a player he has over 280 caps for England & Great Britain. He captained GB in the Athens Olympics and played in 2 Olympics, 3 commonwealths and 3 world cups. Ben is the Assistant coach to Surbiton ladies 1s, was the Assistant coach of England U16 Girls last year, Coach Educator for England and GB hockey and England U21 international player.
