As children move through preparatory to senior school, and on to higher education, they develop an increasing awareness of themselves. During this process of maturing they also need to assume an increasing responsibility for their actions and life choices. DiscoverYOU© aims to inspire young minds to identify their unique passions and strengths, and maximise the richness of this journey.
The Year 6 DiscoverYOU workshops are a starting point for this lifelong process. They aim to help children recognise their own strengths and talents, linking these to their unique success stories and empowering them to describe these strengths to others in both formal and informal interactions with confidence and pride.
Year 6 have started their workshops within their tutor groups and they will continue throughout the Autumn Term.
