Eight Danes Hill scientists from Years 5 and 6 recently took part in the regional competition of the 2016 Science Quiz.
The children had prepared as well as possible prior to the quiz, spending many lunchtime sessions with the science teachers, focusing on a range of topics from the periodic table to hospital departments.
The quiz was very challenging this year for the Danes Hill pupils, who were split into two teams of four. Both teams performed admirably but unfortunately did not quite make it through to the next round. However, the knowledge they have gained over the past few weeks will certainly stand them in good stead in the future.
