Danes Hills families of children from all Year groups in the Main School and Bevendean congregated on the Headmasters Lawn this weekend for the annual Families Day, put on by the Friends of Danes Hill (FODH).
Whilst the families were enjoying the afternoon, some of their sons and daughters were hard at work trying to raise money for the school. Children organised a stall on site, including Splat the Rat, tombola and Smash Down the Cans, for the visitors to enjoy.
There were a range of other activities with events taking place throughout the afternoon, including gymnastics displays, singing by the Bevendean and Lower School Choirs, fairground rides, a BBQ and even a live band.
Needless to say that everyone had a wonderful time and it is all thanks to the FODH for once again putting on a terrific event.
