Danes Hill Boys U9-U13 swim squad showed a huge amount of talent and effort in the annual gala held at Parkside School on Monday 2 March. All the boys gave their very best in the event, regardless of what stroke they were required to swim. The level of team sportsmanship was very impressive with each squad member supporting each other.
The highlight must go to the boys who swam the individual medley. In this event, the swimmer is required to swim all four strokes, butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke and freestyle. It is a very grueling race, swimming all 4 disciplines.
Well done also to R McDonald in Year 3 who competed against Year 4 pupils and achieved 1st place!.
