On Thursday 12 September the senior girls played their first football match of the season against Manor House. With such a great turn out at Football club a few days before we had a large squad to choose from and were able to give all the girls some game time. Everyone played extremely well, and special mention should go to K Johnson and L Burgess-Allen who both played up an age group and managed to score a goal each in the first half. Despite a few more attempts at goal in the second half we could not increase the score further, but happily came away with a 2 – 0 win. Well done to everyone that played – it was a great start to the season.
