1EMW Assembly

13th March 2020

This morning the friends and family of 1EMW attended Bevendean to watch their amazing assembly all about Hamilton’s Hats. The children told the story of Hamilton, the little pig who is scolded by his mother for his vanity and his excessively large hat collection. However, throughout the story the piglet proves the hats teach him important life lessons. As he meets the giraffe, the monkeys and the crocodile, the hats teach him determination, bravery, patience and kindness. The children performed beautifully with some amazing singing and dancing.

Mrs Samson congratulated the children on their brilliant assembly and commented on how the lessons Hamilton learnt throughout the story reflected Bevendean’s motto, ‘we care, we share, we love to learn’.
