The Year 5 children enjoyed a day exploring Brooklands Motor Museum where they focussed there attention on motor racing. Pupils were shown around by experienced volunteers who answered questions about the history of the race track and the vintage race cars. The highlight of the day was building race cars out of bottles and old CDs and then racing them down the test hill. The children worked well in small groups and beat the teachers, quite convincingly in the downhill racing challenge.
