Transition Learn the Life Cycle of A Chick

13th August 2018

In the run up to Easter, Transition have been learning about the life cycle of a chick and had the experience in watching their very own eggs hatch.  The children predicted which number would hatch first and if the chick would be a girl (brown) or a boy (yellow).  Te excitment started on Wednesday 14 March when the first egg started to hatch. The last egg eventually hatched on Thursday 15 March.  On Friday 16 March, the children got to hold the chicks and decide names for each of them.
