Monday 12 June brought a wonderful evening for the annual Danes Hill Summer Concert. The Ark was filled with parents, who were treated to Pimms and strawberries on arrival and during the interval. The talent in the music department and dedication of both staff and pupils made the concert an event to remember. An array of musical talent was exhibited, with impressive performances from Danes Hills choirs and ensembles. Solo pieces from Jacqui Birrell, Callum Scott, Dali Doljanin, Klaas-Jan Hemke, and James Midgely were particularly special. The Middle School Choir, Chamber Choir, and Orchestra performed a spectacular medley of The Very Best from Elton John, achieving a standing ovation at the end of the evening. Well done to everyone who took part and for your dedication throughout the year to your music!
