2EEG delighted all with their assembly about listening on Friday 19 January. The children worked hard, producing a wonderful assembly in the limited practice time they had. They spoke with clarity and confidence as they told the story of ‘Peace at Last’ by Jill Murphy. Parents of 2EEG were particularly touched by the children’s discussion of what they’d miss the most if they couldn’t hear: the waves on a holiday beach, a big brother laughing, parents saying ‘I love you’.
After watching the assembly in the Ark, parents enjoyed refreshments in the Main School House. Well done to 2EEG for giving a super assembly and giving everyone a lovely start to the day!
