Grandparents Day at our Prep School was a delightful and memorable event, where we had the pleasure of welcoming the grandparents of our pupils to share in a day of celebration and connection. The festivities began with a captivating concert, where the children’s performances showcased their ...musical talents and brought smiles to all. After the concert, grandparents were invited to tour our expansive 55-acre campus, exploring the beautiful grounds and learning more about the school's environment. The highlight of the day was the opportunity for grandparents to enjoy one-on-one time with their grandchildren, creating cherished moments. The event was a wonderful success, leaving everyone with fond memories and a special sense of community.

Grandparents Day at Bevendean was a heartwarming celebration, where we warmly invited the grandparents of our pupils to join us for a special day. The event began with a beautiful concert of singing, showcasing the children's talents and filling the playground with joyful melodies. Following ...the concert, the grandparents were given a tour of the children's classrooms, allowing them to see firsthand the vibrant learning environment and the creative work their grandchildren are involved in. The day was filled with smiles, laughter, and precious moments, strengthening the bonds between generations and creating lasting memories for all.

A new addition to the school calendar meant some of our lucky Year 5-8’s had the opportunity to compete against visiting @shrewsburyhouseprep on a newly constructed, exhilarating Mountain Biking course around the school site as shown by Mr Skene in our latest post! Riders got to test their nerve ...on a very challenging and gnarly course that packed in a ton of man made features and tricky natural terrain.

All riders had a real blast and some ‘SENT IT’ and Danes Hill were crowned eventual winners of the event. Well done to all the pupils who participated and took on Mr Skene’s course with determination and courage!

He invites any school up for the challenge to get in touch and have a go at our course!

The Danes Hill School Summer Concert was an unforgettable musical extravaganza, showcasing the exceptional talent of our pupils and teachers. The evening featured stunning performances from the Sinfonia Orchestra, The Ignite Choir, various ensembles, the Radiance Choir, Sonority Winds, the Chamber ...Choir, the Jazz Band and many more! The diverse program included a stirring tribute to Queen, the iconic Top Gun theme, the enchanting Jurassic Park score, Bach's Prelude No. 1 in C Major, and hits by Adele, among other captivating pieces. The concert was a testament to our vibrant musical community and left the audience in awe.
