On Saturday 27 November, the FODH organised the annual Danes Hill Christmas Fayre. All the Danes Hill families are invited to this wonderful event to mark the beginning of the Christmas season. The children visited Father Christmas in the grotto and told him what they wanted for Christmas, received a little jingle bell and their first Christmas present of the year! Outside in the food market, vans filled the air with delicious smells, visitors had the option of a pizza from the Dough Shack or burgers and hot dogs. There was mulled wine, hot chocolate, doughnuts and cake pops for those who wanted a sweet treat. In the Ark lots of wonderful stalls sold Christmas wreaths, gifts, toys and more whilst the Bevendean and Lower School Choirs sung on the stage to their friends and families. In the Dining Room there was glitter tattoos, lucky letter, craft tables and a tombola where all of the children had an exciting time winning prizes.
