The children have been participating in a Sponsored Swimathon and an Art Design Competition in aid of the schools chosen charity Winstons Wish. The event started with the Art Competition where the children were invited to design the swimming certificate for their year group, the winners were awarded 50 house points and a chocolate gift! This week the children are trying to swim as many lengths as possible in 20 minutes, with the families of Danes Hill being invited to donate for our chosen charity this term, Winston’s Wish, in aid of the childrens hard work in the swimming pool! The children have been swimming amazingly this week with one child in Year 8 swimming an incredible 49 lengths in the 20 minutes.
