Edible Homework

11th November 2021

Year 7 children worked very hard over the half term with their homework, they were asked to create their very own cell using whatever materials they liked! One of the children used a pumpkin to create their fantastic cell, cutting an area out so they could display what the inside of the cell looks like whilst using cocktail sticks to label the individual sections. Another cell was created using clay, her pink animal cell was very effective with small bits of plasticine making up the nucleus, mitochondria and cytoplasm. Another child managed to create a cell which was completely edible, with a Haribo mini egg, delicious sprinkles and icing representing the important parts of the cell.
