Today, the Year 2 children had an exciting day, Gruffalo Day! The children went out to the playground to meet their games teachers and were met by Miss Hanks the mouse! They were very thrilled to have the mouse from the Gruffalo teaching them for their lesson. They set off for the woods to hunt for the golden egg, an adventure fit for our wonderful Year 2 explorers! They thoroughly enjoyed their visit to the Danes Hill cinema where they watched The Gruffalo film, which really make them giggle! Their lessons were all themed on The Gruffalo throughout the day and they all produced some wonderful themed work in art, English and maths!
