On Monday 11 October, the U13 girls’ hockey team travelled to Charterhouse for the Regional IAPS Competition. The girls faced a tough pool and narrowly lost their opening games to Edgeborough and Feltonfleet.
They rallied together to beat Belmont Hill in the final group game to put them through to the Plate Competition.
In the quarter-final, the whole team played brilliantly to beat Seaford College 3-0. In a nervy semi-final, the game ended 0-0 against Hall Grove and went to penalties. Tallulah E saved two brilliant penalties before Sophie J scored the decisive winner.
In the final, the whole team worked tirelessly against Salisbury to win 1-0 and be crowned IAPS Regional Plate Champions. Congratulations to the whole team!
