This morning, our Reception children set off on an adventure to the Main School for an exciting Sports Hall experience! This was their first visit to the Sports Hall and they couldnt believe the size of the space and the amazing climbing wall. Our games teachers joined the children for a mixture of football, basketball and rock climbing. They demonstrated some great skills with Mr Dormer and also learnt some new ones with Mr Bates, Mr Sykes and Mr Bennett. The children tried shooting basketballs and practised their dribbling technique. Mr Lindsay taught them the basics of rock climbing and they were all very excited to give it a go. The children played various games in the climbing wall to test their balance and co-ordination skills. The children had a fantastic morning in the Sports Hall and are excited to return when they join Year 1 in September.
