This week, the Year 3 children are enjoying a mix of activities and rehearsing for their Year 3 production. This afternoon, Miss Woods asked her class to make a tower, only using straw and tape! Working in groups, the children created an assortment of towers with different designs. One group chose to make their tower wide and shorter to ensure stability, other groups were aiming to create the tallest tower they could! One group managed to build their tower up to the height of their classroom, their spire was touching the ceiling! The class demonstrated some great teamwork and created some amazing ideas for their design and build techniques.
