Today we have welcomed the children back from their Easter holidays, the sun was shining and the children were eager to get back to the classroom!
This week, the games department are hosting the tennis trials, the boys in each year group have been invited to showcase their tennis skills and ability. At Danes Hill the children play cricket in the Summer Term and practise their athletics skills in preparation for the annual Sports Day at end of the term, this includes long jump, high jump, relay races, shot put, discus and many other events. Tennis is offered as an additional sport to those who wish to partake. Today, Year 6 enjoyed excellent rallies between the pairs in the glorious sunshine. We look forward to some amazing sporting achievements throughout the term and a celebrating the sporting successes at Sports Day in June.
