At Danes Hill School, each term the catering team offer a variety of themed lunches for the children to enjoy and today their dessert was themed on a Bushtucker trial. They were able to try mealworm and cricket flapjacks and grasshopper brownies, the children were all eager to try the treats, some were more willing to try than others! They all were surprised to find them delicious with some children even coming back for more! There was also the opportunity to try crickets, mealworms and grasshoppers, the Year 7 children described them as crispy, salty, and surprisingly yummy. We cant wait to see what delicious lunches Holroyd Howe provides us this term!
