This week the Year 8 children have been finalising their DT creations, a smartphone speaker! During the term they have been working on their technique with the various tools in the DT room, hand saws, the pillar drill, belt sander and the Fret saw! Today their designs came together and they were very excited to take the final product home. Mr Taylor reminded the children that precision is key in their work and when using the equipment. Throughout the year the children also take part in food technology lessons with Mr Taylor.
