As part of their English studies, the Year 3 children had a Poppies and Poetry Day in preparation for Remembrance Day next week. The children took part in workshops, recited poetry and crafted their own poppies and poppy wreaths. They also learnt about WW1 and reflected on the meaning behind the poppy we wear on Remembrance Day.
