Yesterday, the U10A hockey team travelled to The Triangle, Burgess Hill, to play in the annual UKSA Hockey Tournament.
Danes Hill started the tournament well, beating Hazelwood and Bede’s School 2-0. Next up were last years winners St Ronans. The opposition started the match with two quick goals, Danes Hill settled themselves, managing to score a goal late on in the game. Next up were Ardingly and Rose Hill who we beat 1-0 and 2-0 respectively. Our last two games were against Royal Russell and Holmewood House who we drew 0-0. The results meant Danes Hill finished 2nd overall. Well played, everyone.
