A group of Year 7 and 8 girls went to the Surrey Sports Park to watch Surrey Storm play London Pulse and enjoyed a meal at the Bench Bar before the game. The match was extremely exciting with London Pulse having a perfect start to the Vitality Netball Superleague season with a thrilling comeback to beat Surrey Storm 51-50. Having led for much of the game, Pulse found themselves trailing by five goals with just five minutes remaining. A couple of crucial defensive turnovers spun the game the visitors’ way, they had the shooting pair from the London Pulse team to thank for holding their nerve in the dying minutes to secure a narrow success.
