On Wednesday 26 February, Danes Hill participated in their first gymnastics festival at Prior’s Field School, Godalming. Gymnasts were selected from Lower, Middle and Upper School gym squad and performed a set routine and vault within their age and ability. It was an extremely exciting day for the girls as for many of them it was their first gymnastics competition. Danes Hill had some great successes in several categories, E Guganeswaran 1st in ‘floor’ U10 elite, M Malby-Nightingale 1st in ‘squat on vault’ U12 novice, B Boxall 5th ‘straddle vault’ U12 novice and L-G Baehr-Bridges 4th ‘floor’ U10 elite. Well done to all the girls!
