Today the Year 6 pupils are taking part in a virtual reality workshop on anti-bullying. In this workshop the children are encouraged to witness, dissect and negotiate a typical scenario of bullying behaviour. The workshop leader introduces the children to each of the characters involved in the story and asks them to put on their headset, watching a short clip, they meet the characters and hear about their backgrounds and problems in a 360 degree video. After they are invited to reflect on the scenario and recognise the negative behaviours. In this safe environment the children can explore the backgrounds and motivations of each character and have an open discussion as a class.
