On Saturday 12 October, the U10 A and B team went to St Georges Junior School for their U10 Hockey tournament.
It was a very wet morning but the girls played incredibly well, playing some of the best defensive hockey they have ever played, resulting in them winning against St Georges 1-0.
The B team had some tough opponents too, and continued to show great Danes Hill spirit in some tough conditions.
The U10 A team, went on to play St Hilarys where the girls were victorious with a 4-0 win, with some excellent shots at goal as soon as we entered our oppositions D. The girls to continued to play extremely well, taking the wins against both Downsend and Hoe Bridge. Resulting in the U10 A team winning the tournament.
A big well done to everyone in both U10 A and B teams.
