Last month, four teams from Danes Hill qualified in the regional competition for the English Schools’ National Ski Championships. This was more teams than any other school in the country! Those who successfully qualified are: A Edgar, P Ford, S Jenkins, E Ochoa, H Colenso, O Drake, N Hardy, W Wagnert, A Bagshaw, C Edgar, M Guevara-Correa, L Bailey-Bain, C Jerram, L Jovanovich, M King and L Bailey. Well done to all the skiers.
The finals took place in Norwich on Saturday 5 October, with the Boys’ Under 12 team winning Bronze, and L Jovanovich winning the award for fastest skier of his age.
